HARD TO LEAVE is about being stuck between the past and the now. It takes courage to move onto the next step. "Life is a series of adjustments" was a common saying in my household growing up. This song is for anyone who feels stuck and needs a little push to move on.
I’m a Bloomington-Normal-based singer, songwriter, and recording artist. After spending nearly eight years in Houston playing in cover bands, I returned to Illinois in 2024 and began focusing on writing and performing my own music. Bloomington-Normal is home for me, and I’m proud to be building my music here in Central Illinois.
“Life is a series of adjustments.” That’s something my dad always told me growing up, and his dad before him. It's become the foundation for the music I create. These songs are about change, resilience, and learning how to keep moving forward through the moments that shape us.
I’ve performed everywhere from small bars to stages in front of thousands of people, and I bring that experience into every show. My primary live setup is a full band performing original rock music, but I also perform stripped-down acoustic sets for smaller venues, community events, and intimate settings.
I write, record, and produce all of my own music, and I’m currently focused on bringing this project to stages throughout Central Illinois.
